Dear Friend,

        Recently I was out with some friends at a local grocery store. I looked around and saw an emptiness of real food. I decided to actively look for something that would be healthy and have the minerals and nutrients that my body desired.

        I walked over the countless aisles and found not a single food that would be healthy and full of nutrients and minerals. Within about 3 minutes I walked over to the tiny section in the corner and discovered real food. Keep in mind, this was the standard throughout every grocery store that I visited! And I was the only one who got it.

        Other people buy food in boxes, and try to get the leanest meat- and usually  wind up with nothing  substantial except for poor health. But I was able to see through this curtain and get my mind wrapped around the fact the most, if not all the food out there is really Not Food At All.

        The question is: What was I doing that made me see this? How did I do it?

        If you would have asked me if this was even possible a few years ago, I would have said “No way.” But now I do it ALL THE TIME.

It’s not uncommon for me to go out an afternoon or evening and get all the Food I need without having to go to a grocery store. Sometimes all I got to do is open my closet and I have highly nutritious food growing right there. My life is full of nutrient and mineral rich food.

        And it doesn’t matter where I am. I could be traveling, at my friend's place, at the beach, farmers market, and still have the most highly energizing nutrient and mineral rich food on the planet radiating through me. As a matter fact, my techniques work EVEN BETTER in everyday ‘normal’ places. You could be healthy anywhere.

        I have to mention one more thing: I’m a regular guy. I’m 27 years old, I’m 5’9” and I workout occasionally. I’m a mixture of nationalities, but most people think I’m Native American when they first meet me-and I’ve never been the kind of person to be actively conscious about my health and nutrition, especially about the food I was eating.

        So how did I go from not knowing about the food I was eating to KNOWING how and what to avoid eating in order to be healthy and have the right foods feeding me?

        I know that you want to be more successful with food. Every person does. But what do most people do about it?

        Nothing.

        They sit back and eat whatever they can get-which is usually nothing good.  People get stuck eating food loaded with toxic chemicals, preservatives, empty calories, and de-mineralization. Sure, once in awhile most people have a little spark that tells them to go eat healthy. But this usually doesn’t happen very often, and no one really tells you the truth about the food you think of as healthy.

        And just about every person I’ve ever talked to would like to have more skills and success when it comes to selecting healthier foods. But here’s the interesting part: Most people won’t go out and learn how to be successful with food. They just won’t do it.

        It’s as if they had someone say to them when they were young: “You’re a loser if you have to learn how to eat healthy” or “If you’re not just eating normal and being yourself then there’s something wrong with you.”

        Well I’m here to tell you that these ideas are B.S.!

        You weren’t born knowing other skills like how to drive,write, add, play an instrument, or speak English. These are basic skills that you LEARNED when you needed them. Success with food is just another skill, and any person can learn it if he or she wants to.

        One night a few years ago, I got sick and tired of not knowing how to eat the right foods.  I noticed I was suffering from some intense abdominal cramps and lack of energy. This was a recurring event in my daily life and I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I couldn’t stand the idea that I was going to spend the rest of my life not knowing how to eat the right foods that would make me feel better.

        I went on a personal mission, and spent the last 7 years of my life reading and studying all of the books, cds, and seminars on how to be successful with health and nutrition. But the frustrating part was that most of what I learned was WRONG - most of it simply didn’t work when I tried it!

        Have you ever looked at some of the ‘health and nutrition’ books like “The South Beach Diet,” “The Zone Diet,” or “Prescription for Natural Healing?” Those books would be great-EXCEPT THAT THEY DON’T TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT FOODS!

       All most books talk about is what to do after you’re already dieting with food. They don’t tell you ANYTHING about how to look for and find the right foods. These books only work if you’ve already got a diet plan - they do almost nothing to teach you HOW TO GET ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE! And the books that do teach you how to find and select the best foods are mostly old, outdated, or just plain bizarre.

        Even worse, there are books out there like “The Zone” that teaches people how to exactly live on manipulated dead food in order to get them healthy.

        The sad truth is that most people give up and never have the kind of success that they want with food - they give up and settle for food that isn’t what they REALLY want - or worse - they settle for FAKE FOOD.
